Connecticut Proton Therapy Center väljer RayCare

RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) är glada att kunna meddela att Connecticut Proton Therapy Center, Wallingford, Connecticut, USA, har lagt en order på onkologiinformationssystemet RayCare®*.

Connecticut Proton Therapy Center kommer att vara det första i sitt slag i delstaten Connecticut. Köpet är ett samarbete mellan Yale New Haven Health, Hartford HealthCare och Proton International och avser installation av RayCare och IBA:s kompakta protonbehandlingssystem Proteus®ONE.

RayCare kommer att vara Connecticut Proton Therapy Centers enda onkologiinformationssystem och kommer att användas tillsammans med protonbehandlingssystemet ProteusONE. Centret kommer att använda RayCares arbetsflödesmotor för att utforma klinikspecifika arbetsflöden och målet är att ta RayCare i kliniskt bruk 2026, när centret öppnar. RayCare kommer att användas tillsammans med RaySearchs dosplaneringssystem RayStation, som köptes 2023.

About Connecticut Proton Therapy Center
The Connecticut Proton Therapy Center will be the first center in the state of Connecticut to treat cancer patients with proton therapy. The center is a collaboration between Yale New Haven Health and Hartford HealthCare with Proton International as the contracted project manager and operator for the new center. The 20,000 sq ft. Connecticut Proton Therapy Center will be located at 932 Northrop Road in Wallingford and is on track to break ground this fall and begin treating patients in 2026.
