A recent example of RayCare's impact can be seen at Iridium Kankernetwerk in Antwerp, Belgium, where it has been in use since 2017 as a productivity tool alongside RayStation. As they prepare to fully transition their oncology information system (OIS) to RayCare and begin patient treatments with the Varian TrueBeam®*, the team has embraced RayCare’s automation and workflow features. They’ve developed semi-automated workflows to enhance productivity, including a background script that performs plan quality checks. This automated task saves radiation oncologists significant time, amounting to over 100 hours annually, by handling a quality check process that would otherwise take 10-15 minutes per case.
